the writing in this book is giving "y/n is kidnapped by one direction" vibes (derogatory). the writing style is so elementary, and the narration of a 17 year old is absolutely atrocious... not to mention the dialogue is weirdly formal and not sincere at all - it feels like something i would have written in 5th grade. i'm so disappointed - the concept sounds interesting, but when the entire first 3 pages is just pure exposition dump in the most painfully obvious way possible, and when the book uses tell not show to convey information, i just couldn't bring myself to keep going.
