I so enjoyed Tom and Amelia’s story. After the first book, my perception of Tom was so negative, but in this book we learn so much more about him that redeems his actions in book one. Also, I loved the transformation that Amelia underwent from her life before captivity to after, how Tom empowers her to learn to defend herself, and how she decided to take a more active role in her life and with her independence.
