Wilted Orchid by Loxley Savage
4.0
OKAY OKAY
This was much closer to my perfect reverse Haren! The brothers were intent on sharing her from the start, there was practically no jealousy between them, and two out of three relationships felt well-developed! I'm excited!
The writing was also excellent (I'm so looking for Loxely Savage's backlist after writing this review) and Valentina was my favorite kind of heroine! She was sweet, she was sassy, she was relatable, she was vulnerable, she was tough, and I love her. Did she have some long-ass, weird-as-shit inner monologues? Yes. But so do I, so can't really blame her.
Fausto was great, Armani was great, Sal was... An idiot, but a hot idiot.
The first word that comes to mind when I think about this book is HOT. Like, so fucking hot it burns. The sex scenes, the foreplay, Sal's twisted behavior... All of it, hot.
I did have problems, though. Sal's love for Val makes no sense. They needed more time/interactions to build on their feelings. And the declarations of love/proposals by the end made me cringe so hard.
But honestly, other than that, this was amazing. My favorite reverse harem so far! (Also my second)
