Selfish. Selfish. Selfish.
The one word that kept on popping up in my mind as I read this book. The main character, Jacinda, was a slave to all of her whims. I hate how in the book she was portrayed as an innocent, kind and a sweet lady but her actions proved she was anything but. What frustrates me more was how she even thought that what she was doing was for the best of everyone when in truth, all her actions conspired against what she believed to be true. Her actions in this book were all FOR HERSELF - she follows her desires and urges not minding who gets hurt or who gets killed in the process. This book is just frustrating.
