After starting and restarting many times, I beat Resistance and finally finished this book! It is overall absolutist and reductive, but there is some very good wisdom scattered about it; you just have to sort through the bullshit and woo woo to find it.

Even though I disagreed with a lot of what he was saying, questioning ideas and reading with a critical eye definitely made for an active and engaging reading experience.

In general, I enjoyed:
- how Pressfield personifies Resistance
- the difference he makes between the Amateur and Pro
- his creed of the Artist

He believes (without a shred of a doubt) in art and creativity and pushes everyone to do what they were meant to do. His blinding confidence here is... heartwarming and encouraging actually, and we need more of that.
