OK, Leigh Bardugo, this is how you do a series! Everything I wanted from Shadow & Bone has been met, and exceeded all expectations in this novel.
I have connected hard and deep with each of Kaz's crew. Their relationships with not only each other, but themselves, is some of the best characterization I've read recently. On top of that, the pacing & plot is really well-rounded. Nail-biting suspense, twists & turns, and a whole lotta fun in between, this book has landed on my frequent re-read shelf, for sure!
