Man Made Monsters by Andrea L. Rogers

4.0

Man Made Monsters by Andrea L. Rogers is a collection of gothic horror short stories following a Cherokee family across the centuries. This collection has all the classic horror characters we love from vampires to werewolves to zombies and more. Alongside the supernatural horror elements, there are also human horrors that reflect real life (i.e. school shootings).

I am not a huge fan of short stories but I enjoyed this one. I think it helped that we were following the same family throughout the centuries.

I loved the building of the culture and learning more about the Cherokee culture. The horror element with the “feeling like someone is watching me” along with the gothic vibe had me hooked.

The artwork throughout is stunning and sets up each chapter beautifully.
