Give Them Lala by Lala Kent
4.0

Really solid 4 stars from me. Truly not everyone needs a memoir, especially not most of the cast on Vanderpump Rules. However, Lala quite frankly, crushed it. She gives an extremely honest view on her alcoholism, abortion, affair, and a great insight on growing up not Mormon in Salt Lake City.

My hairdresser actually recommended this to me last year and I was going to skip it, but I was intrigued when I saw it on kindle unlimited. Really happy I picked up and I really flew through it, even while reading other books.

Nothing was wildly shocking, but I loved the perspective and the length of the book felt right. Sadly the stuff about Randall aged poorly, but I think Lala is a strong gal and I’m excited to see what’s next for her. This was a surprise for me, and about as good as I think most memoirs can be. Bravo, Lala (literally).
