okay so ive had a week to sit with this book now- i really think that this has taken a slot up there with my favourite books of all time. i finished this book feeling inspired by patti and roberts obsessive attitude towards creating art. it genuinely re-ignited an excitement towards making new work/exploring new mediums in a way that i havent felt in like .. the better part of a decade.
and really is there anything Patti can't do? art, music, poetry and prose. she said she wrote only what she could see play out in her head like a movie and that must be why this was such a vivid read. loved it! and love patti too <3
