Just beautiful. It’s why writers write and readers read. I love the mix of poetry, meta book-within-a-book, and primary source realism blended into the narrative. A book about grief, about place, about art, love, addiction, obsession, suffering, loss, hate, and manic joy. Not what I expected, and just what I needed.
