i don’t think i’ve ever thought about a book, its plot, and its characters more than i have with this one. i could write essays about the messages and themes of this book and not get tired of talking about it. although not better than the outsiders, rumble fish gives me, as a reader, so much to think about upon finishing. i love this book and i love rusty james.
