This was the romantic escape I needed! Olivia, Helen, Amy Rose and Ruby are intelligent, thoughtful and ambitious young Black women in early 1900s Chicago, looking for love, purpose, and happiness. PG enough for younger readers, but delightful writing that adults will also enjoy.
