Animal Farm by George Orwell
4.0

One thing about George Orwell, and his writing is that he will have you completely hooked from the beginning. It’s thought provoking, and makes you realize we’re never too far off from his fables. This isn’t a Disney novel were the animals live happily ever after. It’s depth easily portrays the masses. It shows just how easy it is to sway, and manipulate those that don’t have the education to realize they’re dooming themselves. They think they have freed themselves from Mr. Jones, only to find a new lazy, and greedy dictator in their mist. And from there the cycle begins anew. The propaganda, fear etc. sounds so familiar, makes you really appreciate his stories years later... Also Boxer ?!?! literal sobs for that sweet boy.
