Musical Chairs by Amy Poeppel

4.0

4.5 stars. Wow I really don't know what it was about this book but I loved it. The writing style was so natural and all of the characters felt real and rounded out. It almost feels like a mundane plot, but there was a lot of change and development going on with the characters that kept it interesting. Maybe my background in classical music made me connect deeply with the story, or maybe it was the fact that the characters are truly adults that are older and more mature so there wasn't anything wild happening. A really lovely book overall.
