I loved this book. King is such a great storyteller, and somehow he makes writing itself a story. I admit that my affection for this book may be in part a sense of validation that comes from knowing that my process is similar to King's (though I am a lot slower and have a lot more drafts). I wish I had read this book much earlier in my foray into fiction, but I think then I would have tried to meticulously follow the advice, and maybe that would have made the book more of a manual rather than a memoir. I don't know. I loved it.
