I picked up this book as part of a book club. I don’t think I would have chosen it on my own. To be fair, I’m not sure if I’m in the right headspace for this book. I’m not feeling rejected or judged.... so that being said, I didn’t get much out of this book. And can I just say I HATE books that quote themselves on every few pages. It’s like, I just read that, you don’t need to repeat it again in fancy script on the next page. That’s a let peeve of mine I guess. Lol. I didn’t know that before I read this book.
It just seemed to me to be too much of an “I’m a professional self-help-book-writer writing this book.” I dunno... I just wasn’t feeling it.
