🔪 Kill Your Darlings by Peter Swanson 🔪
MY RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75
Thom and Wendy Graves seem happily married, but Wendy wants to kill her husband. Told in reverse, their story reveals a dark secret from their past that has kept them bound together, forcing them to question if it's worth holding on to.
I enjoyed reading this! It wasn’t as twisty and turny and mysterious as Peter Swansons books usually are, but I enjoyed just going through the story. It started in the present with the main event, and then went back through their lives showing what led up to the event. While I found this fun, I feel like for a book like this, it took away a lot of the thrill. There are some surprises towards the end I enjoyed, but I wasn’t waiting to see what was going to happen, and at some points it felt like not much was going on. I did read it quickly and enjoy it!
