One of my favourite recent reads - the book is like a hug in text form. A beautiful low-stakes, slice-of-life-and-vibes kind-of story about friendship, post-retirement, business rivalry, hints of a sapphic romance, and freshly baked cake and warm coffee - all set in a medieval fantasy world.
