Indestructible Hulk, Volume 1: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. by Mark Waid, Leinil Francis Yu

2.0

I am a huge fan of Phil Coulson and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and so when I went with my friend Grace to Motor City Comic Con (which was completely amazing) I bought the first S.H.I.E.L.D. comic. I really wish I could have liked it more, but it just couldn't compare to the amazing TV show. It felt like a who's who of superheroes, and there was too much going on plotwise. Phil Coulson being fantastic nerdboy Agent Coulson gives the comic an extra star (and the monkey card Fitz apparently has and gets punched when he's good which is now my headcannon for the show), but overall I wouldn't recommend the first one. Not sure if I'll continue with the series.
