this book left me emotionally devastated. i had to put it down several times during reading becasue of how much it was making me feel; it's not a book for the faint of heart. the writing style, much like the first book, was beautiful. the characters were as emotionally complex as they were in the first book.
i loved this book. i don't think i can read it again, though.
