I'm so happy that I'm done with this book! I'm convinced everyone who rated this 5 stars are lying to themselves and have never read a good book. Kate was completely unrealistic as a character. She can sing, dance, straight A college student whose favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird, which she reads once a year... There is no one on this earth who reads that book every year! Oh, and of course it's mentioned every couple of chapters that she's model beautiful and 100 lbs soaking wet. I was waiting for her to take up painting and be told she's better than Picasso. All the other characters were one-dimensional perfect models as well...absolutely no character growth for anyone. Saw Kate's cancer diagnosis coming in the first quarter of the book even though it's not mentioned until 75% of the way through because, of course, that's the trope a book like this goes for. 10/10 do not read this shit. Rant over.
