Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas

Oh my gosh.
I needed this book, it was the perfect follow on from Throne of Glass.

Celaena’s character I felt developed quite a lot throughout this book. I admire her so much for her bravery and determination.
I LOVED that we got to see a lot more of Celaena’s Assassins side, which I felt was missing a little from the first book. We got to see the beast unleashed!!

And, okay, I kinda fell in love with Choal. I mean a lot. He’s just so perfect, so down to earth and mature, I may be abit jealous. Sometimes I feel that Celaena doesn’t know how good she’s got it with him, and wish she would stop with her big badass personality to see what’s right in front of her. I had major feels reading the part where he breaks down into sobs after meeting with Celaena. It destroyed a piece of my heart!

This instalment of TOG series was packed with magic and magical creatures, my inner fantasy lover was over the freaking moon.
After the first book I was wondering where this story could go and in no way did I see this happening!!!
The last half of the book is so fast paced, I couldn’t put it down, this is getting SO good!!!
