I did end up liking this book, but it took a long time. This could have been at least 50 pages shorter, and I often felt bogged down by all the irrelevant details about the wool industry and sword lessons. That being said, I did love the characters, especially Maya and Sofia. And I really loved the twist and how Marske tied everything up so neatly. Would have liked some dramatic stabbings though.
