Details on injury:
So. Many. Broken. Bones. I think there were technically fewer than the first book, but there were still a lot, and described with brutally evocative skill. I had to put the book down so many times. I'm glad I renewed my library loan long enough that I could wait for a time when my PTSD was already muted under dissociative stuff, or I wouldn't have been able to handle this.

Still worth it.
