This series isn’t bad but it’s not great? It’s an okay “filler” when you don’t really know what to read next. There’s some good moments, some annoying moments.
I get the secrecy of Da Hood buuuuuut I think the boys could’ve let Cee in a little more than they did. A lot of misunderstandings happened bc lack of tiny details that I personally feel wouldn’t have ruined the whole situation.
Tobias is on a whole different level of manipulative. I get hes big bad wolf daddy of the club but cmon now? Drugging someone and then tattooing them?! Do people like being claimed and branded THAT much??
How Dom and Sean found out about Cee and Tobias was kind of a give away from the beginning.. weak
Miss Cecilia’s back and forth with her over romantic die hard heart was a little much.. and that’s coming from a hopeless romantic.
Also JUSTICE FOR RYAN!
The twist in how Dom/Tobias’ parents died in the plant gave last minute vibes. But I understand it’s what gave the “I walked in my moms foot steps” full circle moment for Cecilia.
I’m glad Cee got the satisfaction of finally getting Doms car and being right on driving it some day. Nice touch on the only other key being held by Tobias. I figured it would be Sean.
There was a lot of emotions in the book and I’m not sure how I feel about reading about a fav character getting killed and finally getting to the loving rainy days comment to moving 6 year to the future. Dominic deserved better lol.
The book jumps around a little too much with too little important details.
