Jinx by Meg Cabot
3.0

I listened to the audio version of this book at work. I generally really enjoy Meg Cabot's books but I thought this one was mediocre at best. The plot was meh, it was complete and made sense but sort of boring. Nothing exciting stood out, I think the problem wasn't necessarily the plot but mostly stemmed from the characters.

The main character Jinx was quite annoying, especially when it came to being oblivious about the love interest. But not only the main character was annoying I found several others to be... cliche and mundane and most times unbelievable. Perhaps she needed more books to help build their personalities. I felt the characters were too shallow and not enough reasoning was explained behind their actions...

I would not recommend this book, instead read her Mediator series or 1-800-Where-are-you. Those were worth the time and way better.
