Cruel Prince
by Ashley Jade, A. Jade
It's not a bad book some things just don't make sense to me. Firstly , why wouldn't Jace have confronted Dylan after talking to Tommy?? Because really why would you listen to anything your brothers #1 bully had to say. Especially when it painted your best friend/ person your in love with in a bad light? Like I get that he was feeling hatred, grief and guilt at the time, but no one knew Dylan better than he did. It's just weird that he would believe some bullshit like that. I think that it's weird that Cole was the brother that spent the least time with Dylan and he was the first one to realize that thing weren't how they seemed. That Dylan wouldn't have done something to hurt them like that.
Also, Dylan was too easy on him. I get that the love of her life finally admitted that he loved her all this time, but Jace was a jackass. He purposely went out with someone who made her miserable just to hurt her, he humiliated her time and time again, and he used the personal shit that was going on in her life to hurt her, and yet none of that even gets talked about once they end up together. I don't even think he apologizes.
Another thing, unless I skimmed over it somehow I don't really recall Jace mentioning the flash drive. There's a brief mention of he kachori, but the flash drive with Tommy's confession isn't acknowledged.
