I think any woman in their late 20s can easily relate to the girls in this book. It’s funny, raw, messy, and refreshingly candid—a beautifully chaotic story of three best friends trying to navigate the everyday life throughout grief in a decaying house share.
There was a part of me in each Harley, Róise and Maggie. From dead-end jobs and questionable boyfriends to drunken misadventures and self-sabotaging moments, I felt like I was right there with them, sitting on the kitchen floor at 2am, laughing and crying in equal measure.
Each of them have their flaws as they are unsure, and figuring things out—but they’ve also got so much heart, strength, and hope. Watching them mess up, grow, and have each other’s backs felt so real and strangely comforting.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re barely holding it together, this book will meet you where you are. I can’t recommend it enough
