The timeline seemed a little "slippery" to me. I listened to the audio book and at times it was hard to decipher what timeline we were on or whose narrative. Not as clear as some of her other novels in my opinion. I was also trying to piece this together with the Netflix show around these books and became a little distracted by that process of piecing things together that maybe should not have been.
