The Rachel Incident by Caroline O'Donoghue
3.75
A charming novel about the messiness of your 20s, and that overwhelming feeling of trying to figure out life, love, and friendships when you are stuck on the cusp between childhood and adulthood. The characters felt real and relatable, although I don’t feel like much effort was put into exploring James’ development and growth.
The ending was everything that I hoped for, and left the reader with the closure that the needed, and the characters with the closure that they deserved.
