This is quintessential James Patterson. A fast-paced mystery thriller with twists and turns every other page. The chapters are short and as a result the plotting of the story is at times a little choppy. Not to mention the main romance on the novel often feels like a drag. But the plot comes together at a nice pace. Fans of Patterson or mystery-thrillers are in for a solid read. Everyone else, new ground is not being broken here.
