Some Kind of Perfect by Krista Ritchie, Becca Ritchie
emotional lighthearted medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

Top five things Addicted Calloway has taught me:
- The media is horrible
- Don't swim in a random lake in a forest in the middle of the night
- The title screen of Titanic is tear worthy
- Thank Connor, not God
- Sex is better than chocolate

So I'm just going to casually leave behind one of the best found families of all time. The romance was good (Connor is my favourite man) but the best thing about this series is how it really emphasises the importance and strength of sibling relationships, especially the bond between sisters. It was sort of sad watching the Calloway name slowly disappear as the girls got married but whatever.

Speaking of the Calloway sisters, Daisy's married name being Meadows is hilarious, it's so ridiculous. And the way 80% of Lily's thoughts were sexual, not her fault obviously, but it made me laugh.
Rose's development from child hater to mother of seven gremlins. I think she might be one of my favourite characters ever. Good luck finding a more iconic person.
A quote of hers that I feel represents her: "My brain works perfectly well, I see a disgusting human being and it says die."
She's fiercely loyal and incredibly smart but icy at the same time. I love how she threatened the men with castration every five minutes. When she would glare at Connor and put a hand over his mouth to shut him up and he would just grin. I can only aspire to be like her.

Some of the best things in the series:
One hundred and fifty miles per hour, no brakes
Lo and Lily. Lily and Lo
The hot tempered triad
The older kids club
Daisy's theories
The nerd stars
Rose's hyperboles
Crazy raisins
Ensemble

The core six

I kept forgetting how much time had passed. Like what do you mean that thing happened seven years ago. That was three books ago. Watching the kids grow up was so bittersweet. For reference, I swear Maria was like a toddler in the first book and by the end she was in her early twenties. I felt sort of bad for her because she had no siblings and the closest cousin to her age was eight or so years younger than her.

As Rose and Connor would say: toujours
