The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris

4.5 ⭐️ I love that this is a true story. We are reaching a point when no WWII survivors will be left alive and I’m stressed we haven’t documented all of their personal histories! (My own grandma is now 91 and I feel the need to reinterview her about her life growing up in Frankfurt in the middle of the war.) Was the prose amazing? No. But knowing this really happened to another human being made the reading significant.
