For anybody who knows me, teacher student romance is a cliché that I just can't get enough of! So sue me, right?

I'm edging at about a 4.5 stars. The pacing was so wonderfully addictive I couldn't put the book down, but coupled with not just the main "romance" in the story, but the side characters, whose lives I desperately want to know more of.

I think my missing last half a star comes at the end - all of the side details wrapped up nicely but the main plot line left me just wanting something a little different - like when you order a delicious bowl of wedges and they don't come with salsa. Perfectly fine with the cheese and sour cream and sweet chili sauce but not breathtaking.

Overall, worth a read if this teacher/student genre works for you, and you don't mind a quantity of sex scenes that aren't so obscenely out of place you feel like you're reading a sexy romance.

Thank you Leah Raeder, I'm onto the next one now!
