Holiday in Death by J.D. Robb
I thought I DNFed this and was confused about how I'd log this as a book I DNFed then finished 2 weeks later because it was still on Libby. Turns out I didn't even mark it as currently reading.
I stopped reading it at about chapter four because I was kind of tired of reading about women being brutalised and murdered over and over, but I picked it back up for reasons that are unclear even to myself.
I like the background characters and the interpersonal dynamics, but I don't love that Eve is constantly breaking into things without a warrant and being hostile to civilians. Also the endings to these books are always really abrupt and I wish there was more of a denouement.
