The story follows Fi McKinnery and her best friend, Robyn, who is about to debut as drag queen Mae B. Eve, another drag queen mocks Mae B, and later on Fi finds her dead. It is assumed the death was a nasty accident, but Fi thinks Eve was murdered.
I have never before been let down by a book which I thought had so much potential! This was my Amazon first reads December pick. I love drag queens and I love murder mystery books so I was sure this was going to be a good one.
I just found the whole story really daft and childish. I think it would have been better if the story tone was written in a way to target young adults.
