THE BAD:
This is a mess omg I don’t understand why we need to know everyone’s ethnic makeup to then not even have it come up? Except of course when Ally Morales’s neck was “en fuego”.  Have you no shame?

And another thing I understand enemies to lovers but why was he so fucking mean in the beginning??? He was cruel with his words like omg she’s stronger than me wtf.

They obviously had the hots for each other but arguably they didn’t really talk so how did she know she was in love with him??? She loved him because he was hot and helpful which fair but that’s not super romantic imo.

I understood both of there perspectives honestly.  She had a pride for not getting handout that’s honestly pretty basic.  But then she’s like about to make her dad be worse than homeless (according to them idk anything about state sponsored nursing homes) and she’ll be living in inhospitable conditions than ask let this random rich guy pay for stuff.  At that point, you’re being selfish and stupid.  And then there’s Dominic who is blaming himself for everything bad that has ever happened around him because he was traumatized at 13 which again fair.  But why (I REPEAT) do you need to be so cruel.

The GOOD:
Dominic’s male love interest ark was gold! In the beginning, I was not a fan omg and I did not understand why Ally would allow herself to be disrespected in public like that it was so weird.  But omg when he started getting soft??? At the Jorge’s pizza scene (this was bad !!! The first pizza place was George’s and this is Jorge’s? Cute 🙄) when he was hopeful stop I melted.

Honestly I like that they’re kinda old.  Besides the fact that some of the stuff happening and language being used was giving … generational gap between the author and myself, I love that it was like what would 2 not lame people in their forties be up to.

The good was really good I promise lmaooo most of the bad is maybe kinda specific to me idk so that’s why it’s just a 3.
