I saw another review who said Billy had more connection with the horse than Vaughn. And I think that was mostly true. It was difficult for me to understand why they were into each other, other than the physical attraction. I didn't get the feeling that they liked each other other than wanting to jump each other's bones.
This book was a little difficult for me to also read since my dad's name is Vaughn and he grew up on a farm in a small town same as the MMC.. But alas, I finished it. I really do enjoy Elsie's books for the most part, this one, I just didn't see the chemistry nor see why they ultimately were together? I'm very much excited to read the rest of the series and seeing if they appear back in the future books and how they are together.
