Dare Me by Megan Abbott
2.0
Great start, then hard to suspend disbelief
I enjoyed the vivid descriptions of cheer formations, tumbling, positive warrior talk. Then a 27 year old coach starts behaving in unbelievable ways. At that point, the book lost credibility. I continued reading because the insider's look at the world of cheer makes for good reading. I read this book based on Roxanne Gay's review in Bad Feminist, a boo k of essays.
