A veryyy slow burn that hooked me, hence why I finished it so quickly. I forgot what the book was about because I had it on hold for awhile, so I was surprised when I found out Ryder was deaf in the second chapter. Arguably, it was ablest of me to assume that to begin with The “pranks” felt childish, but I think maybe the enemies-to-lovers trope always feels a bit childish to me. To be fair, they’re in college after all. Loved the women’s soccer storyline go reign! Cute. Smut. Above-average romance novel.
Graphic: Cancer
Moderate: Death of parent and Ableism
