🧵What a powerful read of a group of women who survived the Holocaust through sewing.
The last survivor was this group was Bracha Konút née Berkovič she passed away on Valentine’s Day 2021.
I am amazed at the atrocities committed against Jewish people from not only Germany but a lot of other countries. And, today we are seeing it again.
This book had a lot of horrific scenes and stories but I felt the strength of these women and men. Sad that not a lot of children survived.
