Takedown Twenty by Janet Evanovich
2.0
Dear Janet Evanovich,
The book was funny, I will give you that. But it was the same jokes as the previous 19 books. Lula is fat. Grandma is nuts. Stephanie is an indecisive klutz. Got it.
I myself am a Ranger fan, but either way the love triangle/sexual tension thing you've got going on is losing it's lustre. There can only be "tension" for so long before it just disappears. Like in a good horror movie, the monsters in the dark (or cats under the bed) have to pop out every once in a while, otherwise it becomes tedious and monotonous. This love triangle is tedious and monotonous.
Please either change up the formula a little bit, or end the series.
