Breaking the Bully by Jessa Kane
Did not finish book. Stopped at 80%.
No strong representations of diverse characters or minority identities.
The Hero is the epitome of toxic masculinity and r@pe culture: the Heroine turns him down, and he makes it his life mission to make her life miserable *and* ensure no one else can have her.
Also CONTENT WARNING:there’s a r@pe sexual fantasy that’s consensually played out at around 80%. While having sex the Hero and Heroine dirty talk about how the Hero would’ve “made” (ahem SAME thing as FORCED) the Heroine enjoy his sexual advances:
“I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think about…making you like it. Wondering if I could make you like having me…inside you.” ... “I’d get you behind the school and…play with your pussy through your panties until you stopped fighting and started moaning.”

I gave the book a shot because I really enjoyed Hefty but I’m not into bully romances.
