So...I loved the idea of this book. My dad was an anthropologist so it made me think of him. Really interesting story but there were some things I could have done without. Rose was not very loveable...she was kind of whiny and spoiled and the part about Her had some weirdness to it. Still, it kept me really pulled in to the book and I was invested in the characters, especially Her. A good read overall.
