Clea by Lawrence Durrell

2.0

Welcome to the least favourite story of mine within the series. I began the journey into the final book, brimming with anticipation, particularly since Clea, a character whose depths I yearned to explore, took center stage. Unfortunately, within this narrative, numerous elusive connections emerged, ultimately leading to a sense of disinterest.
Throughout the narrative, one thing that I do appreciate is the author's decision to grant Pombal a chance to exist as a fully realized character, with a life of his own rather than merely serving as an observer of others' experiences.
