I read this series off of an unhinged reel that described one very specific sceneโ€ฆ and to be honest I went into it not expecting it to be THAT good. But I flew through this duet and really enjoyed it.

๐Ÿ“” ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐˜€: Why choose, grumpy/sunshine, men in uniform, romantic suspense, ultra spicy.

๐Ÿ“– ๐—ฆ๐˜†๐—ป๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜€: When Skylarโ€™s best friend goes missing and the authorities wonโ€™t help, she seeks out the elusive Alpha detectives to help her. The brooding men try to refuse, but soon find they canโ€™t turn Skylar down.

๐ŸŒŸ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜„: You guys know I love the omegaverse. But reading this set based off a joke had me assuming it wouldnโ€™t be great - and the Goodreads ratings didnโ€™t help.

But I actually loved it! Both books are bingeable - I finished the duet in two days and couldnโ€™t put it down. The three alphas were so perfectly different, and I loved Skylarโ€™s vulnerability. It had everything I want in an omegaverse book - heats, knots, possessiveness, mating bondsโ€ฆ

Add on the subplot of the missing omegas and a lot of really solid spice, and Iโ€™m definitely recommending this one.

Iโ€™m glad it defied my expectations, and Iโ€™ll be picking up more Liliana Carlisle in the future.
