It's nice to finally know more about The Dark One, but this book felt like a filler. It had long sex scenes, but the story barely progressed. Good cliffhanger, though.
What I'm saying is, if you're here for the spice, then you're going to love this one. But keep in mind that you will need to start with THE NEVER KING to understand the story.
Anyway, off to the next book.
