Into the Dying Light by Katy Rose Pool

The ending was weak.
The series starts really strong in the character building aspect, but it gradually gets lighter and lighter in the next books, which is a problem because by Into the Dying Light I didn't feel much for the MCs and the dramatic/sad scenes didn't hit. The ending in general was a bit underwhelming.
About the series as a whole, I think it could've done with less povs and definitely cut some unnecessary parts, it could easily have been a duology.
