This became an unexpected favorite for me. I was so immersed (did listen in audiobook form though), I got through this one in 3 days and can't wait to start the next one!
I like that Rowan got actually impacted by the training he went through. The only thing that slightly let me down was how easily his fate was solved (for now). Still, considering how much I enjoyed all other aspects of the book, full five stars from me! I'm not a literary critic, just rating via my own overall enjoyment.
