Kill Everything That Moves: The Real American War in Vietnam by Nick Turse

dark informative sad
Deeply horrifying, insightful and very well researched. So many parallels with other human atrocities yet still so appalling to read about. What an immense loss of life, what shameful tactics used by such cowards. The war machine is still running and it must be brought to a halt.
Need to do more research into post-war Vietnam & the NLF driving out american forces who ran like cowards with their tails between their legs when they had to face actual guerrilla fighters instead of wantonly and sadistically killing civilians. Also super interesting to note how the war is framed in american history after their humiliating loss.
